Sacred Mala MakingJapa malas are prayer beads used in the practice of mantra meditation. Typically consisting of 108 beads, malas have been used for thousands of years as a tool to help focus the mind on the repetition of a mantra, or divine prayer.
Malas themselves are made of many different types of beads - gemstones, seeds, wood, rose petals – all of which can infuse the mala with different energies, to be used for specific purposes - cultivating abundance, promoting healing, gathering strength, etc. In this workshop, Sara will offer a thoughtful meditation designed to help you set a personal intention, and then guide you through the practice of threading and knotting that intention into your very own Japa mala, choosing the beads that most speak to you. Workshop includes: - All the tools and supplies needed to create your own 108 bead Japa mala - An understanding of how the energy of each of the beads/stones/crystals effect your physical and emotional body - A final guided Japa mala mediation to seal your intention into the beads, and into your consciousness |
ESSENTIAL EMOTIONS: YOGA & ESSENTIAL OILSEmotions are real, and can not only affect our peace of mind, but can have a direct impact on our physical well being as well.
The practice of Yoga gives us many amazing tools for honoring and processing these emotions, but when the right essential oils are added to the mix, the capacity for healing grows. In this special 90min practice, we will use asana and meditation in an exploration of doTERRA's Emotional Aromatherapy collection and discover all the ways in which they can enhance our practice and heal our bodies, hearts and minds. We will then have the opportunity for each participant to create a unique essential oils gift to bring home and begin to implement into their daily lives and personal practices. All levels welcome, though some familiarity with vinyasa yoga is recommended. |

FULL MOON FLOW
Amplify your practice and recharge your spirit beneath the influences of the first Full Moon of Fall. The moon is considered a source of great wisdom, and represents our intuition, emotions and creativity.
Explore the mythology of the moon and all she represents in an invigorating, but slower-paced, meditative Vinyasa flow, enriched with Moon Salutations (or Chandra Namaskar) to cultivate balance, openness and peace. Class is suitable for all levels, though a familiarity with Vinyasa is recommended.

Spring is a season of new beginnings, transformation and hope. Emerging from the inner world of our winter selves, we find the air charged with the freshness of possibility.
Fashioned around a sun salutation practice to welcome back the light, we'll use Prana Flow Vinyasa to first focus on cleansing the body of the stagnant energy that can form during the winter sleep, and then move towards a full body and mind awakening to the joy of the season.
Expect to leave your mat feeling rejuvenated and empowered to harness the energy of creation that surrounds us to forge the path towards what we most desire.

CHAKRA VINYASA:
A PRACTICE IN TOTAL BODY BALANCING
Experience the power of living flow with an integrated journey through the chakra system, the energetic current of prana that follows the path of our spine from root to crown.
Our body remembers our life. Emotions and experiences can sometimes become stuck, resulting in imbalances and blockages. These can manifest physically and emotionally at any point in our lives.
Once we become consciously tuned in to where we may be blocked, we can focus on clearing those spaces, releasing stagnant energy, and connecting to our true selves.
In this workshop, we'll use meditation and Prana Flow vinyasa to travel upwards through each of the body's seven primary chakras, or energetic centers, and explore the relationship between the physical, emotional and subtle bodies.
Expect to leave your mat feeling refreshed, renewed and thoroughly balanced both inside and out. All levels are welcome, though some experience with vinyasa yoga is recommended.
